Roper Technologies Raises Annual Forecasts Amid Robust Software Demand

July 21, 2025 - Roper Technologies (ROP.O) increased its annual revenue and adjusted profit forecasts on Monday, citing strong enterprise demand for its extensive range of software products despite ongoing macroeconomic challenges.

As companies navigate shifting trade dynamics following President Donald Trump’s tariffs, Roper’s software solutions have maintained steady demand. The company provides critical software infrastructure across diverse sectors, including education, healthcare, insurance, and construction.

Roper has also ramped up acquisitions to expand its portfolio amid an uncertain long-term economic outlook. Last week, the firm announced an $800 million deal to acquire Subsplash, an AI-based software provider serving faith-based organizations.

“With significant M&A capacity and our proven acquisition model, we remain well-positioned to execute our disciplined capital deployment strategy against a large pipeline of attractive opportunities,” said Roper CEO Neil Hunn.

For 2025, Roper now anticipates revenue growth of approximately 13%, up from its earlier forecast of about 12%. The company also raised its annual adjusted profit outlook to a range of $19.90 to $20.05 per share, compared to its previous guidance of $19.80 to $20.05.

In the second quarter, Roper reported revenue of $1.94 billion, surpassing analysts’ average estimate of $1.93 billion, according to LSEG data. Net income for the quarter rose to $3.49 per share, up from $3.12 per share a year earlier.
